Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpretation

On site interpreting: More than 200 languages for any situation from interpersonal meeting to large conferences, regularly scheduled events to emergencies. our qualified staff matches your needs with the right interpreter or translator. U.N.T.I.'s language professionals have native speaking ability therefore they are more accurate and they can convey messaged in context.

Consecutive interpretation: This occurs when an interpreter communicates words after the speaker has completed his/her statement.

Simultaneous interpretation: Also known as "conference" interpretation, occurs when a person's words are interpreted in "real time" or simultaneously. This method is most commonly used by interpreters at the United Nations. This type of service is essential for bilingual/multilingual conferences with medium to large groups in attendance. In addition to working with simultaneous interpreters that are certified by the UN in the State Department, U.N.T.I. provides state-of-the-art audio equipment for all conferences. Conference interpretations is handled by our Washington, DC office.
